F-B Tool & Die Limited was established in St. Catharines in 1945 by four tool and die makers.
The F and B stand for Forstinger and Baumann, the surnames of the founders. By the 1990s the company had evolved into a modern tooling manufacturing company through ongoing expansion of facilities and employment. We continued to leverage our engineering and manufacturing capabilities to create value for customers in advanced manufacturing.
Today the company proudly serves the power generation, transportation, mining and packaging industries. In 2009 we became FBT Inc. to better reflect the scope of our advanced manufacturing services which have evolved beyond what our founders ever envisioned. FBT stands for Forstinger Baumann Technologies.
